Speer’s Hot-Cor Semi-Spitzers have a modified nose for enhanced medium range shooting and are offered for cartridges where the loaded cartridge length is critical. These bullets also feature Speer’s special Hot-Cor construction which eliminates the lead oxide layer that’s found between the core and jacket of conventional “cold core” bullets, virtually eliminating jacket slippage. This translates into a bullet that offers the deeper penetration and greater expansion needed for taking larger game. This is not loaded ammunition.
